If we don't share our story in agriculture, it will be told for us

Yarns From The Farm is a public awareness project that shares the rural lifestyle and generates curiosity around agriculture. I believe that as individuals involved in the agriculture industry, it is important for us to communicate our values and share what we think is important, because if we don’t, we leave the door open for our story to be told for us.

The Yarns…

Most of my Yarns focus on our family farming business in Western Australia, where I try to be a rural voice and offer some perspective of life on the farm and context behind the decisions we make. But, I also love to travel and explore agriculture across different countries and cultures, so sometimes my Yarns will be unpacking farming systems from different parts of the world.

  1. Erin, thank you for a great talk today to Scarborough Rotarians… do not fit the advertised mould of the Y generation. Your talk was inspirational! Thank you & well done….but please be careful while ‘touring’ SE Asia.
